No the Greenbay Packers did not come to my house.

Phil Renaud has left a new comment on your post "Holy Sh*!":

For one reason or another, when I read "the packers are here", I just figured you were talking about Green Bay's football team, The Packers.

This lead to quite a lot of confusion.

This comment was left for me today and I just wanted you all to know that it was the packers who are moving me that came to my house. I didn't realize that this was such a confusing matter. To read more about my move please scroll down. And thank you Phil Renaud for letting me clear this up for you readers out there.

Have a great day!

Holy Sh*!

So the packers are here and they are almost done. The moving truck was sapposed to come tomorrow. Surprise we will be there in 2 hours. So I quick booked another stay at the lovely Holiday Inn down the street. So I guess this is it for me and my beautiful condo. It is sad but really exciting at the same time. Wish me luck on the three day drive with the putty cats.

1hr 14 minutes and 35 seconds

...and counting. Yes this is the official count down to my last working day in Minnesota. I haven't had much to do today but take a long lunch and go out for afternoon coffee. Hoping that the last of my work gets out the door without too much hassle. I finished filling out my Exit Interview. And yes I was honest but not brutally honest like I could have been. I located another print shop under the same network that we are under right by my new house in Waltham, MA and I hope to at least stop by and check the shop out or even maybe get some part time work while I am waiting for the job of my dreams that will pay me the big bucks. This weekend is full of poker, party and surprise parties. Oh yeah and I guess some organizing. I am looking forward to this new step in my life and unlike other steps I have taken this one is big and good and not so scary. Well, I have wasted alittle bit more of my time and I am hoping there is a cold one at home for me to enjoy and cheers the fact that I don't have to work for a while. The not working is pretty cool because I will get to do all the things I haven't really been doing over the last few years. Like playing the violin more than 2 times a year, getting the software on my computer to mix records into mp3 and of course working on my online portfolio. So off I go to find something to do for the next 1 hour 3 minutes and 5 seconds.

It's been so long

Sorry it has been so long. We were out in Boston all last weekend, having a blast and finding our new home. Boy is it expensive holy cow. But it is a nice 2 bedroom town house with a nice front yard that I can plant my flowers and the cats can hang out. It was a bit cold and very windy we all have wind burn. We walked alot and finally the last day we figured out that we hadn't needed to walk as much and could have taken the subway more. Oh, well exercise is good.

Getting back to work has been insanely busy but at least the days go quick. We had our wedding tasting last night and are looking forward to some wonderful food. Tonight we go and get the mans ring, it's amazing how much you have to do to move or relocate. This weekend we will have a huge going away party and the movers will come on Monday.

I gotta go because well time is being a wasted.

Well, we have the day planned for the mover to come pack and the day after for them to actually take it away. And guess what the date is 4 days early and guess what else. The fiance will be out of town the whole entire time, isn't that convenient. I can't sleep I am losing my shit.

Good news though I will have my first guest on the 14th woo hoo.

NEEDED...WEDDING ADVICE

Hello all as you know I have been planning my wedding that will be next October. I was ahead of the plan before but have fallen behind since the move to boston happening in 2 weeks.

What I really need help with is how did you divy up the wedding between grooms parents and brides parents. Both of our families have enough money for us to do what we want but it seems his parents just aren't looking to spend anything of if something very little. My fiance has voiced his disgust at his parents and not only their lack of financial support but their emotional support as well. My parents have already stated that they will take care of everything but to me that just isn't fair.

So I am asking ok begging you to give me some insight and perhaps share a story or two of your wedding, someones wedding or just how you think it should go.

Thank you for your participation before hand!

No Drinking Heavily this Year

You Are Guinness

You know beer well, and you'll only drink the best beers in the world.
Watered down beers disgust you, as do the people who drink them.
When you drink, you tend to become a bit of a know it all - especially about subjects you don't know well.
But your friends tolerate your drunken ways, because you introduce them to the best beers around.
What's Your Beer Personality?
So this year we can't go woop it up since we have an early flight or maybe we will just drink all night yeah right. Next year though when I officially a Mahoney.

So work has become very strange since I put in my notice. No one will really talk to me from management. Do people really punish you for quiting? It just seems odd.

Has anyone had an experience like this before?

Yeah i get my engagement right back

My engagement ring has been in the shop for the past week and a half because they are working on fitting the bands and setting the rubies. This I will not get to see until the day of our wedding. But pictured above is what the main stone looks like but is a bit smaller. I also get to pick up the rest of the jewelry for the wedding which consists of the stone above. I changed the color to white gold and I will be removing the little red stone. Also, it will be hanging from pearls that match my dress. Then I have some neat drop earrings. I have to bring the stuff over to my parents house right away or I will want to wear them all the time and that can't happen until after the wedding. I also will be maxing out my credit cards (yes plural) Because we need to approve the wax for my honey and buy the rubies for his ring. I think it is cool that he is getting platenium too. We will have the most unique rings out there. We have to get this stuff out of the way before our move.

This is what my life has become

This is what stares me in the face hour after hour at work. And he has a glowing croch. Do all Irishmens croches glow. I m wondering because mine is a 99% Irish so did his 1% polish kill the croch light? This is how I deal with a blow up Irishmen that stares and waves and smiles at me all day and the bastard doesn't even pour me a beer sheesh.

This week has been busy. I got a make over on Monday because my mother insists that I wear make up and she would much rather me look like a hooker than with out. So she brought my ass in where they showed me how to apply and yes I know how to apply my make up I just haven't used any all over coverage. The stuff I got is cool it is a powdery type of foundation and you can still see my freckles. The best part was the under eye concealer it actually works and made a huge difference. Yesterday I got my hair cut, I am working towards one length for the Wedding. Considering a little over a year ago it was a really short pixy cut it has grown a ton.

Tonight I want to sit on my ass. I am pooped BB went to check out his soon to be new work in Boston on monday and had to leave at 4am on tuesday so I didn't sleep much and last night he didn't get home until 1:30 am, I guess I really shouldn't be complaining because he had to travel the whole time.

I am ready to go out and check the housing situation. I am excited to live in a new place especially one with so much history. I still would love to here anything from you Bostonians.

Clean the house

So we told my parents and it went perfect. It is really nice to have them on your side because they can make things very easy and if so very hard but thats not the case. They are thrilled that the fiance is making his way up the ladder and are thrilled to visit us in Boston.

Today is through out all the shit we haven't used. We have 6 loads of laundry going and a huge ass pile for the goodwill.

Again any comments about boston sure are welcome. Wish us luck that we don't die from clothes falling on us.
